I’ve got another VSN eArticle updated for you. The eArticle I chose to do this time, Metal & Faux Metal Techniques, is one of the oldest in the eArticle Library and the links in it to external websites needed a lot of work. Many had moved or disappeared. I fixed all of those, tracking down the new locations, deleting a few and adding a couple new ones. I also tweaked the text here and there where I thought I could make it better and updated the VSN info at the end. The updated eArticle is now posted on VSN’s eArticle page.
I think of all the eArticles I wrote for VSN, this one is the one I’m most proud of. It covers a ton of different card folds to get you out of the single-fold-card rut. But it’s not just a string of card directions. It’s all about explaining how each card works with lots suggestions for creating variations by doing things like cutting or folding the card just a little differently. You can make most of the cards in any of several different card sizes using measurement charts I provide, but I also explain what you need to do to create your own custom size if you like. It’s very cool. It’s also the the most downloaded eArticle in VSN’s eArticle Library, so it’s not just me that likes it!
The weather folks are calling for snow in my area tonight, so it seemed like a good time for me to review VSN’s “Stamped Snow & Ice Techniques” eArticle. I checked all of the links inside the eArticle and only found a couple going to external internet sites that needed a tweak. (This is the most recent of all the eArticles after all.) I’ve fixed these and also updated some of the info about VSN at the end. The updated eArticle is now posted on VSN’s eArticle page.
